I sometimes like to make Ukrainian eggs. This form of art is called Pysanky. Pysanky is created by using a stylus called a kistka to draw designs in beeswax on the eggshell. First, draw the part of the design that is meant to be white, then dip the egg in a next-light color like yellow. The beeswax repels the dye, so everything under the wax stays white when the egg is dipped.
